Here it is!

Okay, here it is, in all of its wonderful glory, Sariah with glasses!

Now pick yourselves off the the floor and stop laughing! Granted, this picture was taken at 11:30 at night. But at least you have it. For all those still laughing, leave a comment and let me know what you think!

I've had glasses since middle school. When I was sixteen, I got the pair of glasses that I would take with me on my mission. The subscription was already a little old and the glasses irritated my skin under the hot Paraguayan sun. So, I started to rely on my companions to tell me who we were approaching and house numbers. But, when I got back home, I realized that I needed them for school. (I couldn't read the black board in the front row). With my new prescription, I could sit in the step down forever watching the leaves on the trees outside. I thought, does everyone really always see so clearly? The beautiful images that I must have missed of Paraguay! I'm reminded of a time in the New Testament when Christ healed a man of blindness, but did it in two parts. Between the first and second blessing, he said that he saw men as walking trees. I think of glasses as a modern miracle, in someways as nice as Christ's second blessing to this man.

You look great.

I've been wearing glasses since senior year of high school. I never embraced them until now, there's so many cute, fun frames!

You look so cute! I love them. I got glasses in the fifth grade. I got them because a boy I liked said I looked cute in my friends glasses so I went home and told my mom that I couldn't see the board. I went to the eye doctor and basically lied that I couldn't see the letters very well. Then the joke was on me because now I need them. I don't have really bad eye sight like Andy, my contacts at -1.5, but still if weren't for Jimmy Hicks, I may not need them at all. Oh who am I fooling, I would need them I AM OLD!

You look fantastic! When I look at you I don't see the glasses, I see YOU. Which is perfect! Enjoy your new outlook on life. :)

Beautiful! They look great. I've had glasses since 4th grade. When I started wearing contacts in high school I would occasionally try to adjust my glasses and then realize I wasn't wearing them.

I have to say that when I saw you in your new glasses it kinda scared me !! Just find some pictures of me, at your age, with my glasses on and you'll know why. I thought I was looking at a picture of myself !!!! You, however, look so beautiful in your new glasses. I don't think I would ever say that about myself. You, on the other hand, look beautiful with or without glasses. Love you no matter what "Four Eyes" !!!!! xoxoxoxox Signed: You Know Who P.S. I am crying as I finish this, xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
